Everyone knows, there many input device, but most of them maybe dont know the input device that I want to share now.
Now I want to share about Mouse, Scanner..
Let start with Mouse.
Mouse
Generally we know that most is used to operate computer. It is a kind of input device as a pointing device on your monitor. Its firstly made at 1984. The first company that made it, named Xerox.
At that time mouse form is not as good as now.
At the first time mouse being introduced, mouse get big attention from public society.
Because the price of mouse is cheap. And need a few place to operate it.
But, at that time, mouse emersion doesnt get a successful goal.
Because the minimum Operating System that support to use mouse.
Mouse, gets success at the time Windows 3.1 appear.
Mouse can work, by detecting the moving of humans hand.
As a pointing device, then appear pointing device like : light pen, joystick, graphic tablet.
Scanner
A Scanner is a device as image/picture acquisition. To sanning image or photo.
In the principal, a sanner convert analog picture to digital picture.
Where, analog picture is a picture that can be touched by our hand.
And digital picure, is a picture inside the computer.
The main component of a scanner is CCD Array.
CCD array contains some light sensitive diode.
This component work as light sensor.
CCD array is inside a head scan component.
This head is a component that moved by motor.
Inside a head is contains source of light.
Inside head, contains source of light, mirror and lens to focus light to CCD array.
Scanner quality.
Scanner quality depend on resolution (DPI (Dot Per Inchi)).
Example :
- If a scanner has resolution 300 x 300 dpi, also can do scanning with size letter 8.5 x 11 inc.
- So, it will need 2550 CCD sensor.
- If color scanner need 3 x grayscale scanner.
